Wáng Qí Lǎoshī (王琪老師)

  About Master Wáng Qí Lǎoshī  ( 王琪老師 )   Master Wáng Qí was born on the 15th of September 1963 in Beijing. He belongs to the Hàn ( 汉 ) ethnic group and the 9th generation’s highest successor of the Three Emperor Cannon Fist style.   Master Wáng was born into a family of martial artists. Already at a young age he was passionate about wǔshù. At the age of 5 he begun to practice Sān Huáng Pào Chuí Quán, Three Emperor Cannon Fist kungfu style, under the guidance of his biological father Wángliánmíng ( 王联铭 ). Later on he had the honour to be able to acquire knowledge of this style (mainly of weapons) from the great ancestor Dǒng Yīng Jùn ( 董英俊 ) (1911-1996) a both excellent and honoured master in Běijīng who belonged to the 7th generation of Great Masters and was a great expert on wielding the Dà Qiāng, great lance which made him earn the name Dàqiāngdǒng ( 大枪董 ), Great Lance Dǒng.   At the age of 20, master Wáng Qí won first place in the Chinese national traditional wǔshù championship hel

10th generation master of a Chinese boxing style known as Three Emperor Cannon Fist

    Wáng Qí Shīfu ( 王琪 - 师父 )  Ruì Lóng  ( 瑞龙 )    Master Carlos García García, is born in Barcelona on the 21st of December 1968. As a teenager he enters the world of Chinese martial arts, dedicating his life to practice and teach them with a strong commitment to tradition and authenticity. He travels to the People´s Republic of China’s capital city of Beijing in 2006, where he gets to know great master Wáng Qí ( 王琪 ), a 9th generation master of a Chinese boxing style known as (Three Emperor Cannon Fist) Sān Huáng Pào Chuí Quán “ 三皇砲捶拳 ”. From this moment, he begins to study this boxing style under masters Wáng Qí ( 王琪 ) and master Zhāngzōngyì ( 张宗义 ).   He travels to Běijīng every August, year after year, showing great effort and commitment to his family traditional wǔshù before his masters, grandfathers and elderly.
