Wáng Qí Lǎoshī (王琪老師)
About Master Wáng Qí Lǎoshī ( 王琪老師 ) Master Wáng Qí was born on the 15th of September 1963 in Beijing. He belongs to the Hàn ( 汉 ) ethnic group and the 9th generation’s highest successor of the Three Emperor Cannon Fist style. Master Wáng was born into a family of martial artists. Already at a young age he was passionate about wǔshù. At the age of 5 he begun to practice Sān Huáng Pào Chuí Quán, Three Emperor Cannon Fist kungfu style, under the guidance of his biological father Wángliánmíng ( 王联铭 ). Later on he had the honour to be able to acquire knowledge of this style (mainly of weapons) from the great ancestor Dǒng Yīng Jùn ( 董英俊 ) (1911-1996) a both excellent and honoured master in Běijīng who belonged to the 7th generation of Great Masters and was a great expert on wielding the Dà Qiāng, great lance which made him earn the name Dàqiāngdǒng ( 大枪董 ), Great Lance Dǒng.
